Why Mental Health Matters in Leadership, with Rachel Marie Ragsdale and Angie Noack

Rachel Marie Ragsdale and Angie Noack of Braincode Centers talk with Greg Aden about brain health, neurofeedback therapy and why mental health matters in leadership.
Rachel shares how her own bipolar diagnosis and a full course of neurofeedback redirected her from interior design to neuroscience and to founding one of the largest neurofeedback practices in the country. Angie describes recovering from a traumatic brain injury at 19, refusing to accept that a walker and memory problems were as good as it would get, and the family support that carried her through.
The conversation turns to where leaders go when they feel stuck, the value of mentorship, coaching, equine therapy and wise counsel, and how Rachel and Angie trade hard feedback almost daily because they have built enough trust to withstand it. They talk about the Enneagram three tendency to keep a polished front, and why transparency serves people better. Greg adds his own thinking on integrity, accountability and humility, and the ripple effect a leader's inner state has on the entire culture.
