Steven tells Greg how he got promoted quickly by learning the next two roles while still doing his current one, starting as a receptionist in financial services making decisions in his head as he watched the loan officers and processors work. He also shares the turning point that came while sitting with his father in hospice, writing out what he loved and did not love about his job and what a role would look like with no title and no money attached. What was missing was pouring himself into people. He had reached global operations with 50,000 employees and a billion dollars in revenue, and resigned.
