Matthew Hostetler and Samantha LaMar on Leading by Example

Matthew Hostetler, chief development officer at Red Roof, and entrepreneur Samantha LaMar join Greg Aden to talk about what leadership actually looks like day to day. Samantha shares how she leads her family and her clients by example, why she will not coach anything she has not done herself, and what she has learned from studying lives of great character. Matthew talks about mental well being as the starting point for leading others, listening with two ears and one mouth, letting a teammate reflect on a result before you coach it, and simply asking what can I do to help you today. Greg closes with his five principles, integrity, accountability, courage, passion and humility, and a challenge on curiosity and better questions.
