Ted Santos on Relationships, Conflict Resolution, and the Cost of Divorce at Work

Ted Santos, business consultant, executive coach and founder of Turnaround Investment Partners, joins Greg Aden to talk about divorce, conflict resolution and the hidden cost to workplace performance.

Ted points to roughly 300 billion dollars in lost workplace productivity each year tied to divorce, with performance dropping 50 to 75 percent for employees going through it, plus another 30 billion carried by taxpayers. He and Greg ask why corporate America still treats conflict resolution as optional when it is the skill executives most often lack.

The conversation goes personal. Ted shares the story of a woman who was told she was wrong by a dentist at age five, made up a story about looking stupid, and spent the next forty years fighting to be right as a criminal attorney.
