Matt Hostetler on Helping Others Grow Through Humility

Matt Hostetler, Chief Development Officer at Red Roof, joins Greg Aden to talk about developing people, humility and what hard work still teaches a leader.

Matt explains why he wants to understand how each person on his team is wired before he asks anything of them, and he gives credit to the people who saw something in him early, including Bob Eckman. He also talks about mentoring a friend's son who wants to enter the industry, and shares what he would tell a room of fourteen year olds about kindness, leading by example and the fact that what they say to each other today shapes lives.
