Jan Pochop on Using Storytelling to Connect and Lead
Jan Pochop, a presentation and communication consultant based in Prague, joins Greg Aden to talk about storytelling, context and how leaders make their thinking visible.
Jan points out that a movie has about thirty minutes to build a character while a boardroom gives you closer to thirty seconds, and he shares a real example of helping a bank manager win budget for an ATM network by framing the risk leadership already cared about, including the fact that a robbed ATM is not covered by insurance.
